Hi! My name is Angela Martinez and I am an emerging Latina graphic designer. I am passionate in making art out of struggles and use my work to bring light to areas I feel deserve to be seen.

The intended message for my project is "unlearning the toxic culture within the Latinx community." Through the creation of a record label, ZA Records Co., traditional and modern Latinx music artists are featured to use their platform to unify their suffered community through shared trauma. Bringing light to the toxic customs, themes, and beliefs within the Latinx community allows this community to connect and unite in unlearning this toxicity together + alleviates unspoken generational trauma.
