Reclaim Iowa
In less than two centuries, over 90% of Iowa’s native land has been severely altered by humans, resulting in the devastation of its prairies, woodlands, and wetlands. Less than 1% of native prairies and 10% of wetlands remain and the woodlands that once covered 18% of the state have been reduced to 3%. Reclaim Iowa features endangered species that remain in Iowa and highlight the importance of preserving the remaining natural habitats through illustration and typography.
